Paappan is a newly release crime-thriller Malayalam movie starring Suresh Gopi, Nita Pillai, Gokul Sutresh, Asha Sharat etc. Paappan was directed by Joshiy and the writer of this movie was RJ Shaan. Actor Suresh Gopi was announced that he was started his 252nd venture with the teaming of director Joshiy and writer RJ Shaan on 14th of February in the year 2021. Suresh Gopi was a activist and he also try his luck in politics. The photography of Paappan was started shooting on 5th of March in the year 2021. But then Suresh was infected and hospitalized. When he discharges, then Kerala Legislative Assembly election was started. Suresh was contesting this election from NDA party from Thrissur district. The shooting of the Paappan was resume after the election. All the location are using in this movie, are from Kerala state only. A few shots are also taken from Coimbatore, Ooty etc.

Story Line
Abraham Mathew Mathan was a Voluntarily retired officer. His daughter was a police officer working for Kerala police in Thiruvananthapuram. The police team of Kerala was reopening a murder case and force Mathew’s daughter to reinvestigate this murder case. This murder case was very log standing murder case of Kerala’s history.
